Balsa & Ply Tail Block
The tail block was laminated, glued to the board then shaped. Next stop: Final sanding then the glass job!

After finishing my 1940's inspired okanui longboard (http://www.okanui.blogspot.com/), I've started making another hollow wooden surfboard. This time round the build will be based on a board shape similar to that of the 1970's.
(This picture is a little distorted due to the skins & frame work leaning backwards).
